IBhayi Small Business Chamber, Business Networking Event

Last night saw a very successful, Business Networking Event, being held by the IBhayi Small Business Chamber in conjunction with the Host Organization, FNB.

The Chairperson, Gaynor Bronkhorst, shared with the members and non-members, the current and future activities of the Chamber, as well as what benefits are available to small business owners in the Bay, when joining an Association like the IBhayi Small Business Chamber.  Furthermore she highlighted, that as a very young Business Chamber, in the Bay, that they were making inroads in creating a platform for small business owners to market and network their products and services across a wide spectrum of industries.

Area Manager (Nelson Mandela Eastern Cape) at FNB, Gary Keppler stirred the audience with optimism, with respect to the future of Banking with FNB.  He mentioned exciting new applications and lifestyle benefits which have been introduced by the Bank, and the future landscape of creating a platform in the Banking Industry for Customers to interact directly with their Bank.

According to Gary, FNB was nominated as one of the top Brand Banking Institutions in the world, not to mention that FNB also was awarded the accolade of the “Coolest Bank”

The events were concluded with a Lucky Draw, with prizes sponsored by, The Willows and FNB.

The collaboration of the IBhayi Small Business Chamber and FNB was deemed a positive step in the right direction, of creating a sustainable future for the small business sector in the Eastern Cape.
